Barking Legs Theater • Soft Animal Presents: PRIDE: Leather History and Leather Care • Are you curious about how Leather culture ties into queer history? Maybe you identify as Leather already or are curious about joining the community? This event will bring together queer and leather folks from all walks of life. This will be a safe space for LGBTQ+ people, Leatherfolk, and Furries/Pups to be yourselves. The goal of the event is to be an approachable introduction for those who are curious about leather, as well as an opportunity for long-time leather community members to come together. This event will be raising money for the Leather Quilt Project, a traveling piece of Leather History, and Soft Animal, a Chattanooga-based LGBTQ+ nonprofit. There will be bootblacking, a cigar social outside, vendors, raffles, and, of course, your chance to see the Leather Quilt for its first appearance in Tennessee.
