Carpetbagger’s Comedy Night is a continuously sold out comedy show held on the first and third Fridays at the Bode Hotel downtown Chattanooga. When NYC shut, Jeff (a native NYC comic) moved into the Bode hotel to run a show inside their lobby. Each lineup’s a new mix of NYC comics and Southeast favorites. This week you can check out comedians: Joe Pontillo • Meno Fernandez • Ben Dalby • Charles Newby • Jeff Greenspan • Keith Marcell • Farooq Hussein. Last time Joe Pontillo, Meno Fernandez, and Farooq Hussain joined us from NYC for the Carpetbagger’s Comedy Night, each one was an audience favorite. This Friday, they’re all on one killer lineup. We’re also lucky enough to have Nashville’s Keith Marcell, and Chattanooga legends Ben Dalby and Charles Newby.
Swing by for the “Pre-Show Happy Hour” from 8:00 – 9:00 pm and stock up with discounts on all sorts of drinks and enjoy free up-close magic at the tables! The Comedy show starts at 9:00 pm.

Once again the Lookout Wild Film Festival is back in Chattanooga. For over nine years the Lookout Wild Film Festival has brought the best outdoor adventure and conservation films from around the world to Chattanooga for one awesome weekend. Enjoy compelling on-screen stories that celebrate wild places and the people they inspire alongside hundreds of other adventure enthusiasts from around the Southeast. The City of Chattanooga Tennessee serves as an ideal host for a film festival dedicated to outdoor adventure and recreation. Chattanooga’s geography and natural formations are home to numerous outdoor sporting activities for its residents and visitors who live very active lifestyles. Having Chattanooga as a backdrop to the wonderful films being shown at the festival continues to help the city serve as inspirational ground for discovering the wild outdoors!

The UTC Campus will be hopping with sports this weekend. MOCS & Lady MOCS Basketball are home in McKenzie Arena as well as Chattanooga Wrestling Home for 2 matches in Maclellan Gym.
On Friday night, Chattanooga Wrestling takes on The Citadel in Maclellan Gym for Military Appreciation Night. All former and active military members will receive FREE admission with a military ID! Match begins at 7:00 pm & you can Get Tickets Here.
On Saturday the Chattanooga basketball teams have a double header versus Southern Conference foes. The day starts out with the MOCS taking on the Mercer Bears in McKenzie Arena. Make sure to wear White for the “White Out Game”. Also make sure to get there early to grab your free rally towel giveaway. Tip Off for the Men’s Game is Noon & You can Get Tickets Here. Then the Lady MOCS take on the Samford Bulldogs. Make sure to keep your seat during halftime for the Frisbee Dogs show. On Sunday Chattanooga Wrestling is back in action at Maclellan gym against Appalachian State. It is time to “Pack the Mac” & show this awesome team some Chattanooga Love as well as UTC Wrestling Alumni Day.
