Chattanooga Zoo • Asian Lantern Festival • The Asian Lantern Festival is back with an entirely new collection of hand-crafted silk lanterns! In the Forest of Fantasy, you’ll discover fire-breathing dragons, fairies, mythical beasts, forest creatures and even Santa in his workshop! Hundreds of glowing lanterns create nearly 50 distinct scenes across the Zoo, and interactive displays and games add to the fun • Please note that indoor exhibits will be closed and most resident Zoo animals will not be visible

  • Watch the Chien Hong School of Kung Fu perform a traditional lion dance under Mimi’s Pavilion at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm each night! The interactive performance blends multiple styles of kung fu, vibrant costumes, rhythmic drumming, ancient weapons and more as a symbol of good luck and prosperity.

Crabtree Farms of ChattanoogaInvasive Species Removal Training • This is an intense training on how to remove common invasive species in your backyard. We’ll spend about 30 mins learning about focus species for the workshop, how they were introduced, how they impact East Tennessee species, and methods of removal. For the remainder of the workshop (2 hours) we will be outside practicing and removing invasive species from a site on the farm. This is labor intensive!
