@nekrogoblikonofficial Los Angeles’ self-proclaimed “Kings of Goblin Metal,” Nekrogoblikon fuse gnarly melodic death-metal riffs with EDM-style keyboard flourishes, claw-raising hooks, and a very un-serious sense of humor—led by their on-stage goblin frontman John Goblikon. Formed in 2006, the band self-produced their lo-fi debut Goblin Island (2007) in a basement, then leveled up on Stench (2011), whose viral “No One Survives” video (directed by Brandon Dermer and starring Dave Rispoli as John) exploded the Goblikon universe. They followed with the Power EP (2012), concept LP Heavy Meta (2015, Mystery Box), Welcome to Bonkers (2018), and The Fundamental Slimes & Humours (2022). Onstage, Nekrogoblikon channel the hyperbolic theatrics of GWAR, and Dethklok while sounding unmistakably like themselves. They’ve stormed Download, Rock am Ring/Rock im Park, Vans Warped Tour, and Summer Slaughter; toured with Limp Bizkit, Dethklok, Babymetal, DragonForce, and GWAR; and headlined numerous packed tours across North America and overseas. Offstage, the band’s comedy DNA powers RIGHT NOW—from the original viral talk-show to The Right Now Podcast with John Goblikon, featuring high-profile guests from comedy, music, and entertainment—further cementing Nekrogoblikon’s place at the intersection of heavy music and absurdist fun.
