Oak Street Playhouse Theatre Little Old Ladies in Tennis Shoes • Kate Corrigan has her life in order, or so she likes to think. In what she describes as “not lower middle age” but “upper youth,” she has a lucrative job, a no strings-attached man, and a new house in the suburbs. “Consider yourselves part of the clutter,” she blithely tells new neighbors Molly Blumenthal and her grandson, Jeff, when they pay Kate a call before she has even unpacked. And delightful clutter they soon become, overwhelming Kate’s tiny existence with a roller-coaster friendship, pot-roast, and the problems of all the elderly women on the block. As she meets these women, living in quirky isolation after outliving their husbands’ and their families’ need for them, Kate realizes the life she’s found looks a lot like the one she’d been running from. “Is it in the genes, an instinct,” she wonders, “like elephants heading for the burial ground? Am I a little old lady in training?” Confronted with old fears and new choices, Kate finds her life opening up—wide enough, for the first time, to admit love. “A sensitive comedy about friendship between generations,” said the Stanford Mail. “Full of wit and laughter…warmth and wisdom,” echoed the Sierra Madre News. “L’chaim!” say Kate and Molly. Audiences of all ages applaud their determination to “grow older, wiser, stronger in every way. But not old.” • Get Tickets Here • 7:30 pm

Songbirds FoundationArcadian Wild • Led by songwriters Isaac Horn and Lincoln Mick and with Bailey Warren on fiddle, The Arcadian Wild confidently inhabits and explores an intersection of genre, blending the traditional with the contemporary in order to create a unique acoustic sound that is simultaneously unified and diverse. With roots in formal vocal music and influences from progressive bluegrass and folk, The Arcadian Wild offer up songs of invitation; calls to come and see, to find refuge and rest, or to journey and wonder. Over the course of 2020, The Arcadian Wild released Principium, a four-movement song-cycle that explores human relationship, flourishing, degradation, and redemption, culminating in the release Principium EP in February 2021, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart. Resumed touring found the band playing to increasingly large and enthusiastic audiences in 2021 and 2022, with shows often morphing into impromptu sing-alongs, a true collaboration and connection between artist and audience. The release of two new singles in Fall 2022 gave their followers just a taste of a newfound well of creativity, with more to come in 2023! • Get Tickets Here • Doors at 6:00 pm • Show at 7:00 pm • Seated Show

The Signal Morgan Wade With Special Guest Meg McRee • When Arista Nashville breakout artist Morgan Wade made her first full-length album Reckless , it was a fistful of songs torn from the life of a girl not afraid of pushing life to the edge. Bold and startling, the guitars pushed forward and her voice – equal parts husky knowing, brassy want and innocence – signaled a deeper connection to the faltering places, desires torn open and the willingness to wrap mental health, drinking and its fall-out, even drugs into her unfaltering merge of Tom Petty-esque lean rock, classic country acoustic guitars, a beat that means business and sweeping melodies that pull listeners into the songs • After attending Vanderbilt University on a full ride, Meg McRee traded her newly earned degree for the pursuit of an unpredictable dream as a songwriter. McRee was validated as more than a driven idealist with the signing of her first publishing deal at Hang Your Hat, a creative joint venture with Concord Music Publishing and hit-songwriter Hillary Lindsey. Since, she has had songs cut by Grace Potter, Elle King, Caylee Hammack, Paul Cauthen, Carter Faith, Ben Chapman and others. Meg recently released the first track “A Lot to Say” off her debut project as a songwriter turned artist, with a full album coming in early 2023. • Get Tickets Here • Doors at 6:30 pm & Show at 8:00 pm • 18+

Puckett’s Chattanooga • Live Music with SAM STEADMAN • After trying multiple career paths he realized his love for music was undying. Knowing this, he was on his way to creating his own sound; with influences from many genres and artists you will hear hints of blues, rock, pop, outlaw country and more. Growing up in the small town of Ringgold Georgia he was immersed in 60’s – 70’s rock, classic country, and bluesy soul music from his dad. Through any tribulations in his life, he could always lean on music. Coming from a talented family and singing in church during his youth, Sam was introduced to the piano and drums and often sang with his brother who played the guitar. Playing things like The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Sturgill Simpson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and many other greats this is where Sam started to write songs. The Woodshop WSLR Presents: Rachel Sumner and The Traveling Light + Redd • Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light are shaking up the bluegrass world with their fresh take on traditional music. Led by Lennon Award-winning songwriter Sumner, the string band’s dynamic sound showcases bold chord progressions, unforgettable stories, and mesmerizing harmonies from fiddler Kat Wallace and bassist Mike Siegel. With their grassy roots, Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light create a sound that’s both timeless and utterly unique, captivating audiences with every note they play • Before the band formed, Redd Daugherty was a high school English teacher at one of the coolest high schools in Knoxville, TN: L&N STEM Academy. While at L&N, she taught sophomore English, Journalism I, Journalism II, Yearbook, and she coached cross country and track. All of this changed on the 12th of March, 2020. She now works for Adam Ivy as the Educational Director and Head Program Coach: “The only reason why I’ve gotten anywhere in music is because of the knowledge that Adam bestowed in me through his curriculum and programs. I took every class, every program, and watched and read every piece of content this guy had to offer and applied it to what I was doing across my socials, and I’ve grown so much over the past two years. Without Adam, we wouldn’t have a booking agent, knowledge on how to market ourselves authentically, and so much more.” • Get Tickets Here • $12 Advance | $15 Day of Show • Doors at 7:00 pm | Music at 8:00 pm • 21+ • No cover until 7:00 pm
