Subsequently, Tim left the band and was replaced by Dustin Concannon (bass, guitar, vocals), who had played in bands with James since they were teenagers. The band evolved into a four piece with the addition of Fred Schendel (formerly of progressive rock band Glass Hammer) on keyboards in 2025.
